What is the Empowerment Dynamic?

The Empowerment Dynamic is a tool that was first written about by David Emerald Womeldorff over a quarter-century ago and has subsequently helped countless people take the initiative in various aspects of their lives, with a huge emphasis on personal and professional relationships.

It is a concept that focuses on understanding your natural and conscious mindset via two triangles, known as the TED triangle and the DDT (Dreaded Drama Triangle). While it can be used by organizations and groups, individuals can transform their outlook by challenging their existing habits.

Above all else, it teaches users how to move from a victim orientation to become empowered creators to take their success to the Next Level.

The Empower Dynamic Triangle Vs. Dreaded Drama Triangle

When falling into the victim orientation, you will naturally encounter the DDT. The three strands of this triangle are Victim, Persecuted, and Rescue. The victim mindset will naturally lead you to focus on negativity, which subsequently hands the power of the relationship dynamic to your persecutor and leaves you looking to be rescued.

In short, you are not in control of the communication or relationship. In turn, it can be a battle to maintain high energy levels, positivity, or a clear train of thought.

The Empower Dynamic triangle has a base where you are a Creator, with additional strands being Coach and Challenger. As a creator, you will be more positive. In relationships, personal or professional, it gives you the impetus to actively take charge and seek what you want. Meanwhile, your respect for the other party means you can support (coach) them or learn from them (challenger).

Whichever triangle you are in, it is likely that you will shift between the three sides. The TED is, therefore, far better.

What does the Empowerment Dynamic achieve?

So, the big question is why would you want the Empowerment Dynamic to be the focal point of your future relationships and interactions?

Some of the key factors to consider include, but are not limited to;

  • You are in control of situations rather than relying on the other party to rescue you.
  • The empowered mindset encourages you to take action and get things done.
  • The empowerment mindset allows you to avoid being manipulated in situations.
  • You will be focused on your objectives, whether in personal or professional matters.
  • Empowerment Dynamic can easily integrate without other mindset tools.

The Empowerment Dynamic can deliver immediate and lasting results that will change your life for the better. It is one of the many techniques that we teach at Next Level Method through our 6-Week Inspire 1.0 course.
